COQUINA CROSSING HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION

General Meeting Minutes of December 14, 2010

 

 

President, Tom Green called the meeting to order at 7:00.   Pete Schulz led the Pledge and  Bob Frank led the singing of God Bless America accompanied by Audrey Reynolds on the keyboard.

 

Bereavement:   No report was presented, but it was noted that Roger Brooks passed on November 14th.

 

Minutes: Motion was made by Nancy Reich second by Bob Hogan and approved.

 

Treasurer’s report: Bob Frank reviewed his monthly report, noting the month broke even and the yearly net is $13, 057.  It was motioned for approval by Al Wollenberg second by Yvonne McCaw and passed.

 

Tom Green gave recognition to the committees and residents for a successful year.

 

Announcement Election Results:

Eileen Weinberg reported that the budget passed and the winning board candidates for a two year term in alphabetical order are, Tom Green, Gary Levine, Bill Napper, Don Sabatini, and Sharon Stoops. For a one year term, Shirley Finkelstein.

 

Board Reports:

Membership 2011: Gwen Smolik reminded residents that the 2011 dues are due and asked for checks to be paid to HACC in the amount of $20 and to put your lot number on the check or your $20 bill.

 

Social Calendar 2011: Melinda Price thanked committees for their support and reported tickets for New Year’s were still available.  Volunteers will be needed for the 2011 activities.

 

Community Announcements: The temperature, both outside and inside the indoor pool was discussed.  The Board will question Renie as to the lack of heated water. Gwen announced that starting on January 3rd QiGong will meet at 9:30 Mondays and Thursdays.  She spoke of the benefits of the 40 minute activities and provided a handout listing these benefits..

 

Adjournment:  Motioned by Sal Sorrenti, second by Dennis Smolik  and approved at 7:30 pm.
