COQUINA CROSSING HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION

 

Minutes of May 11, 2010

 

President, Tom Green called the meeting to order at 7:00.  Harry Manford led the Pledge and Bob Frank the singing of God Bless America, accompanied by Bob Ong.

 

Bereavement:  Barbara Stoner reported we had three passing, Chrissy, May 3rd Virginia (Ginny) Knapik May 4th, and Marcie Shomo May 4th.

 

Minutes: Motion was made by Russ Mosher, second by Carolyn Wixted and approved.

 

Treasurer’s report: Bob Frank reviewed his report, and highlighted the income & expenses of the Ladies Club, spring Show, and Bereavement.  Mona Lou Coberly motioned to approve the report, second by Gary Levine and approved.

 

ELS Report:

Old business:

1.)    The quarterly inspections are still on hold until we have a new manager.  2.)

2.)    Calls to her concerning neighborhood watch problems should go to the Sheriff’s non-emergency number (824-8304)

3.)    Progress is being made on the fiber optic system.

4.)    She has two bids on pickle ball lines, needs one more.

5.)    Bocce ball courts and shuffle board court repairs.

New Business

1.)    They are still seeking a property manager.

2.)    New carp have been released in the ponds.

3.)    She will investigate air conditioning in the locker rooms.

Other

1.)    Painting of the clubhouse is on the back burner until they hire a designer.

2.)     Car bar codes and plastic cards need to be checked as a frog got into the monitor and damaged the computer.  It is running but some data may have been lost.

 

Activity Announcements: 

1.      Suns baseball trip on Tuesday, June 22 @ $12.50

2.      Vets Memorial Day cookout @1pm for $8

3.      Kayaking at Anastasia (single $7, double $10) this Thursday and once or more per month.

4.      Garage Sale needs kitchen workers.

5.      Ladies Club, women’s fashion show on 5/19 for $2.

6.      May 24th, free concert at 3pm.

7.      There will be a meeting in July to plan for the fall craft show.

8.      Following the meeting HACC honored Ray Wixted.
