THE MAY 2009 HACC BOARD MEETING
COQUINA CROSSING HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION
Board Minutes of Thursday May 7, 2009
President, Tom Green called the meeting to order at 3:00. All members were present, except Chuck Stoner.
Minutes: Motion was made by Carl Hoefer to accept the minutes, second by Pam Anderson and approved.
Treasure’s report: Bob Frank reviewed his report. It was motioned to accept by Mike Rothfeld, second by Tom Larson and approved.
Special Presentation: by Carl Hoefer and Bill Bothe on APR (Alliance of Park Residents) pertaining to why HACC should pay the bill for membership fees for the residents of Coquina Crossing. There is an attached copy of Carl’s report and Bill provided a newsletter from APR. After a lengthy discussion a motion was made by Bill Napper not to pay the $491 bill, second by Betty Henry and approved. A second motion was made by Mike Rothfeld to invite Bill to the Tuesday general HACC meeting to discuss APR in front of the general membership. The motion was second by Betty Henry and approved. Betty Henry stated her disapproval of supporting APR..
John Barusich: addressed the board about several lack of service issues throughout the community. The treadmill, the front gate, and the locker rooms were named.
Social update: Bob Frank informed the Board that the Mother’s Day, Memorial Day and The June Pool Party, will be bringing in some revenue. He also believes Renie will be using the bingo money for other events. The Bingo issue is still unresolved as the ELS management has failed to return Tom Green’s phone call.
Liaison: Tom Larson reported that the fertilizer and pool issues are no longer relevant.
New Business: Charles Gascoyne has found a website to petition permission to put up the banner for the annual garage sale. If the permission is obtained, then Jeff Crossley has no problem with the banner
