Subject: HACC Resident’s Meeting
Dear Geoff;
Our first HACC resident’s meeting of 2009 was held last night in the ball room; I wanted to share with you four topics that were discussed that I thought you should be made aware of.
First is, I asked Roland Gauthier from River Towne Homes to give everyone an overview as to what he and David from Southern Homes have been doing since there are no ELS sales people on the property. He spoke for about ten minutes and told us the interest in the community has picked up and since the first of the year he and Dave have spoken to seventeen couples and/or singles about renting new homes or resales.
The other the matters the residents brought up and I have asked Tom Larson to get with you to determine when they will be remedied are
The indoor pool and when it is going to be repaired so the water can heated to the temperature our residents are used to. There were some questions raised about the jets in the hot-tub…are you aware there is a problem?
The men’s bathroom lights in the indoor pool area have been out for some time and people want to know when they will be replaced or repaired.
Two people expressed some concern over the fact they did not feel there were enough rugs to down in the main entry way to the club house on rainy days. They wanted to know if there was a procedure in place to insure there would be sufficient coverage of the walk way so the potential of slipping and falling would be minimized.

The general consensus of the meeting was; it was good. There were not any issues brought up that I believe can not corrected if they are given your attention. If I had to prioritize the biggest issue it would be the indoor pool and its water temperature…people are not happy with how long it is taking to get it fixed. I have asked Tom Larson to get with you to see when these issues can be resolved; I am copying him on this letter so he is aware that I have brought these matters to your attention.
I also want to tell you how we as residents appreciate Renie and Mary’s efforts on our behalf. Their names were mentioned in the meeting because of their work on behalf of the residents in 2008 and how much everyone is looking forward to working with them this year. Mary is always so helpful and upbeat. Renie; well she is invaluable and so very highly thought of by everyone. Please share with them how much the two of them are held in the highest esteem by the residents.
There were some comments that were shared with me after the meeting about Tom and his maintenance crew. The people I spoke to were complementary regarding their responsiveness to their needs and requests. Please pass on our thanks to Tom and his staff.
Geoff as always thanks you for your efforts on the resident’s behalf. If you have any questions please let me know. Please work with Tom Larson directly who is our (HACC’s) liaison to address the needs of our residents.
Sincerely yours,
Coquina Crossing Homeowners Association
